“We went on a Wednesday, late afternoon. Our server was really nice and helpful. My wife had a lobster roll that came with lots of french fries. She is a lobster aficionado and said her meal was great. I had the Seafarer’s (smaller size) clam strips dinner with rice. It was also just as I would wish and there was plenty of it for my taste. We both had cups of clam chowder, my wife thought there were too many potatoes, but I liked it ‘cuz it was thick and tasty. Did I mention the cocktails we had were fine as well? Besides the unpretentious atmosphere and the basic good food, what we like about the Weathervane are the various discounts they offer – “Claw Club” card, birthday offers and the occasional 20% off gift cards.”

“This is a pleasant eatery catering to a middle market in seafood dishes. They have a wide selection with very reasonable price points. The food is standard good fare The restaurant is warm and the personnel are accommodating. My food was tasty and my wife had the Thursday special which offers two 1 pound lobsters with sides for $16+ (a real bargain). They also have a club that may be joined to entitle one to other specials. Try it with the family and you will all be happy.”
